Hot water and lemon juice in the morning assists with keeping the blood pressure at safe levels (coupled with a healthy diet that features a moderate amount of salt and keeping one’s stress levels down).
It also assists with the elimination of waste from the body, such as urine. Lemons are also beneficial when you are on a diet. For instance, you can add a teaspoon of lemon juice to a cold or room temperature glass of water.
It is always best to use fresh lemons. However, if you are not able to do so, bottled lemon juice without many additives is useful as well. Look for the writing on the label that states it contains 100% lemon juice.
