15-Year-Old Brutally Stabbed To Death In New York (Video) June 22. 2018 Warning: very graphic video containing images of extreme violence
15-year-old Lesandro "Junior" Guzman-Feliz was stabbed to death in New York. A video began trending on Twitter this evening which shows the brutal murder. It is a sad reminder of the type of society we are living in. Lesandro was grabbed in a bodega (food store), dragged out of the property and repeatedly stabbed on the sidewalk in a horrific manner. It is one of the worst things I have ever seen. The video is truly jarring and terrible. I've never seen anything like it. The cold-blooded assailants attacked Lesandro in a manner consistent with gang activity. For years I have written about the dangers of gangs and imploring people to stay away from them. The day before the video of Lesandro's stabbing death was made public on Twitter, I retweeted an item by preacher Joel Osteen which stated, "You can't hang out with chickens and expect to soar with eagles. You're going to become like the people you associate with." An attorney in New York disagreed with Osteen's statements stating in response to my retweet, "That doesn't seem very Christian at all." However, it is. The Bible encourages believers to be peaceable to all. However, it makes very clear, "Bad company ruins good morals." That means be careful who you hang out with. Be careful who you call friend, which was the gist of Osteen's message. I also stated an example of gangbangers killing people, making them a danger to have as friends. One day later, we see the video of the pack of young men hanging out together, who then circled, brutally attacked and killed Lesandro, an underage minor. All of the young men did not carry out the attack. However, they conspired together, then a few of them viciously stabbed Lesandro to death. Now police and prosecutors in New York have to deal with apprehending and prosecuting Lesandro's killers under the justice system, regarding a crime that has shaken social networking. I can't get over the barbaric nature of the killing. That poor child did not deserve that. It is evil.
Lesandro "Junior" Guzman-Feliz I am of the belief all people, not just Christians, need to be selective when choosing their friends. It is not a matter of being stuck up or thinking you are better than anyone else. It's the realization that some people can get you into trouble, by leading you down the wrong path. One of the young men who was present during the attack on Lesandro, looked young as well. He knew better, but was present for the unthinkable. He approved of his friends' murderous conduct. If I had a child, I would not want them consorting with gangbangers and mobsters. There is an inherent risk in doing so. Would you want your children to be friends with the young men who murdered Lesandro. Of course not. You'd be terrified they would get into trouble as well or ended up killed. We must use discretion in choosing our friends. In other cases, the wrong friends can get you into trouble through no fault of your own. I've written about this on the site before, regarding two friends who were arrested in separate incidents in Miami, for being in the same car as a criminal. They were not aware of what was going on. In one case it was a stolen car. My friend did not know that the person he and two others were hanging out with had stolen the car he drove them in. In another case, my friend did not know his pal was about to engage in crime. He left the car for a moment, committed the crime without telling them, then came back to the vehicle. However, police had been alerted by someone in the business and picked them up as he went back to the car. Both friends had to pay thousands in legal fees and appear in criminal court to clear their name.
Lesandro "Junior" Guzman-Feliz at the hospital. His lifeless body is cradled by his grieving mother. It is heartbreaking to see people go through such suffering. My condolences to his mother. This has also happened to famous people. Basketball legend Allen Iverson was arrested while driving with a group of friends who had drugs and guns in the car. The incident threatened to derail Iverson's basketball career. He had to retain an attorney, as the matter was prosecuted through the state. Iverson was able to stay out of jail, but the incident damaged his image and bankability with sponsors. In another incident, my good friend's sister was arrested on Miami Beach on New Years Eve a few years ago. She comes from a very decent, hardworking family. The incident was a case of being at the wrong place, at the wrong time, with someone you thought you knew. However, even the smartest people can be fooled. She had gone out on a date with her boyfriend. Towards the end of the date, her boyfriend, who had become high, walked up to a tourist and tried to rob the man. The tourist resisted and was shot and killed by her boyfriend for it. My friend's sister called 911. However, police arrested them both. Her family had to mortgage their house to pay for a lawyer to clear her name. Thankfully, the victim's boyfriend, a witness to the killing, told prosecutors and police that my friend's sister was not an accomplice, was in shock at what her boyfriend had done and tried to help the victim. Charges were dropped as a result. However, it was a harrowing experience for my friend's sister that caused her family a lot of pain.
Photos of the young men who killed Lesandro "Junior" Guzman-Feliz I've written a number of articles about the knife crime problem that has emerged in London, England, which is a place I love. It saddens me to see what is transpiring there. Seeing the video of Lesandro's murder in New York, made me all the more concerned for the people of London facing the knife crime epidemic. Once again, on October 20, 2015 I spoke out against police cuts in London (Metropolitan Police Cuts To Leave 8,000 Officers Unemployed (But Can Be Avoided)). The Prime Minister went ahead with the cuts anyway, firing 8,000 cuts to save money, in what was false economy. Since that time, the murder rate in London has shot up and 2-months ago, surpassed New York for the first time in history.
My tweet on my Twitter page regarding the dangers of hanging out with gangs. The video of Lesandro's death that surfaced a day later illustrated my point. I want people to look at what was done to Lesandro by a group of young men engaging in gang type activity and stay away from gangs. The Home Secretary, Sajid Javid, has stated they are looking into programs to target at risk youth, in trying to help them from going into a life of crime. That's all good and fine. However, take a look at the Lesandro murder video posted above. The new breed of young gang members have no empathy whatsoever and are acting with a viciousness not seen before in modern times. The killing was cold and calculated. No hesitation. It was alarming and chilling. The only thing you can do, which I have repeatedly written about on this site, is do round ups. Synchronized, surprise police raids, swooping in on the gangs, for public safety. The crime levels would drop to appreciable levels. Teens (and adults) with the mentality seen in the video above, cannot remain free. They need to be rehabilitated behind bars, as stated previously on the site. The only thing that some understand is incarceration. You cannot allow gang members to damage the business sector and tourism.
