The Kardasians in promo shot for their reality show

Reality stars Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner were the subject of derisive laughter at yesterday’s Emmy Awards, which celebrates television programming in America. Kim and Kendall presented the award for "Outstanding Reality TV." Kim stated at the podium, “Our family knows firsthand how truly compelling television comes from real people just being themselves. Kendall stated, “Telling their stories unfiltered and unscripted."

The audience laughed at what was not a joke, much to the sisters annoyance. The Kardashians and Jenners are under the misguided impression that they are real actors who star in quality programming. There is no artistic or creative merit to what the Kardashians and Jenners do.

The frequently sued family have stolen so much intellectual property to increase their financial profile, while living their lives on camera in what is a thoroughly scripted and derivative reality show, no one of substance could respect such fraud, theft and greed. They're not fooling anyone. Hence the derisive laughter at Kendall's comment about the show being "unfiltered and unscripted." Not to mention, as renown journalist Barbara Walters stated, the family "has no talent."
