Kevin Porter Jr and Kysre Gondrezick

NBA basketball player Kevin Porter Jr, 23, was arrested on charges of domestic violence. Porter plays for the Houston Rockets. Porter's girlfriend is Kysre Gondrezick, who is a female basketball player who plays in the WNBA and is now a free agent. Porter viciously beat his girlfriend in a New York City hotel room. Porter flew into a rage after Gondrezick locked him out of their hotel room as he was out late. Security helped him get into their room.

Porter strangled Gondrezick with such force he broke a bone in her neck. Poter punched her in the face so many times she has wounds that run more than an inch deep, particularly to her right eye. Porter has been charged with second and third-degree assault, and second degree strangulation.
Porter just signed a new 4-year $63 million contract, which is now in jeopardy because he has anger management issues.

Girlfriend of Rockets' Kevin Porter has fractured vertebra

Sep 12, 2023, 12:34 PM ET - NEW YORK -- Houston Rockets guard Kevin Porter Jr.'s alleged attack on his girlfriend at a New York City hotel left the woman with a fractured neck vertebra and a cut above her right eye, prosecutors revealed at his arraignment Tuesday.

Porter, 23, pleaded not guilty to felony assault and strangulation charges in connection with the incident Monday at the Millennium Hilton near the United Nations in Manhattan. Prosecutors said he didn't stop until his girlfriend, former WNBA player Kysre Gondrezick, ran out into the hallway covered in blood.

Porter was not required to enter a plea during his brief court appearance. Porter, who had been in police custody since his arrest around 6:45 a.m. Monday, was released Tuesday on $75,000 bail. He was also ordered to stay away from Gondrezick. "This is a serious domestic violence case," Assistant Manhattan District Attorney Mirah Curzer said in court. Curzer said Porter has a history of abusing Gondrezick, including an incident in which he rammed his car into hers...
