An investigation continues into rappers Young Thug and Birdman,
who tried to have rival Lil Wayne murdered via a commissioned hit. In a 2015
incident, shots were fired at Lil Wayne’s tour bus after a show at a Georgia
night club. After the attack, Birdman was heard speaking to the shooter, Jimmy
Winfrey, on a telephone call. The calls were made and received with mobile
phones owned by Birdman. During the call Birdman stated to Winfrey, “Time for
you to come out here and get your money. You did everything you could do boss.”
That’s attempted murder and murder for hire.
Winfrey was tried and convicted, then sentenced to 20-years in
prison for the attack. However, 3-years later, Winfrey’s sentence was
overturned. The district attorney is now debating whether to charge Winfrey
again and include Birdman and Young Thug in the charges as well. The case has
sparked a civil lawsuit as well. The bus driver is currently suing Winfrey,
Birdman and Yung Thug over the attack. If the district attorney decides to
charge the aforementioned men, it would make it easier for the civil suit to
proceed.

I don’t like what the entertainment industry has become over the
past two decades. So many artists have been assaulted or killed. Hollywood is no
longer about good making music, movies and TV shows. It’s now about violence,
sexual assault, rape, molestation and spying on people.
Due to this atmosphere the quality of the work has fallen off.
There is a massive erosion in talent. People are being signed who have no
talent. They are being made famous due to their willingness to carry themselves
with absolutely no morals and do whatever they are told, no matter how
unethical. Years ago Hollywood was not like this. If you read social networking
you will see the complaints in this regard.
