NFL Denies Claim Rapper Jay Z Is Buying A Football Team

Rapper and former crack cocaine dealer, Jay Z, real name Shawn Carter, recently betrayed football player, Colin Kaepernik, by cutting a deal with the National Football League (NFL), after telling everyone not to do so. When a massive backlash erupted that featured people calling him Judas, among other unflattering names, Jay Z, tried to shift attention to the claim he is buying a NFL team. However, said rumor Jay Z floated to deflect all the bad publicity he has been receiving, is being met with scrutiny.

The Root website stated regarding the matter, "Mr. Beyoncé neither confirmed nor denied the report, but now sources are telling CBS Sports that ain’t no way in hell is that happening: Multiple people connected to NFL ownership and the league office have told CBS Sports that this TMZ-reported rumor is simply false, that there are no plans in place for the rap legend to become an NFL owner."

Jay Z has been known to lie and exaggerate deals and their value. For instance, when he and Madonna's music streaming company Tidal began massively failing, they sent out a fraudulent release to press outlets claiming Samsung is offering to buy the worthless company for over $100,000,000.
