U.S. Senator Josh Hawley has proposed legislation that is being called an embarrassment to former House Speaker and current congresswoman, Nancy Pelosi. Hawley has proposed the Pelosi Act, which would bar any member of Congress or their spouse from engaging in insider trading, using confidential data and testimony privately provided to the legislature.

Nancy and her husband Paul "The Hammer" Pelosi, have been formally accused of engaging in insider trading. I say the bill should go so far as to include family members of lawmakers in Congress, not just spouses. Pelosi has embarrassed Congress with her unethical, unlawful conduct.
