The First Anniversary Of Whitney Houston's Death The Grammys Make No Mention Of Her In Their Telecast February 11. 2013
Whitney Houston People online are complaining that the Grammy Awards last night made no mention of the late singer, Whitney Houston, who died a year ago today, while getting ready in her hotel room for the show's parties, festivities and ceremony. Some are questioning the blatant snub of the woman considered the queen of pop and greatest mainstream female vocalist of her generation. Houston's mom, gospel singer, Cissy Houston, was appalled at a Grammy party invite from Sony Music's Clive Davis, as her daughter died under strange circumstances while preparing to attend the same shindig last year. Houston was not amused when the party continued last year, even though guest knew Whitney's lifeless body was in a suite upstairs at the Beverly Hilton. Houston labeled Davis' new invite "The most obscene thing" in light of her daughter's death, publicly voicing her displeasure at how everyone, including Davis, kept partying last year knowing what had tragically transpired. That's Hollywood for you. Houston gave them her talented daughter and they gave her back early in a casket. Some continue to insist in articles and on You Tube that Houston was murdered by the Hollywood "Illuminati" as was her late label mate at Sony, Michael Jackson. The FBI has not released an official statement regarding the documents and photos sent to them by private investigator, Paul Huebl, who stated two known music industry criminals were seen in the lobby and on the floor Houston's suite is located.
