Audiences and influencers all over the internet have been slamming Vice President Kamala Harris and rappers Megan Thee Stallion, and Quavo of the Migos over a rally held this week in Atlanta, Georgia. What truly caused offense regarding social networking and content creators is rapper Megan Thee Stallion and her dancers dressing in provocative clothes and twerking at the rally, meant to garner votes for Harris in the upcoming November 2024 election. Harris is running against Republican and former President, Donald Trump. Quavo insulted Trump during the rally, using his lyrics to state, "He don't walk it like he talk it."

Many black people online found the event demeaning, patronizing and insulting, largely due to Megan Thee Stallion dancing like a stripper at a political rally. Some expressed the view it was embarrassing to black people to see this display in a political setting. Others complained it insults their intelligence. People on the right laughed and slammed the rally as ignorant, squarely due to Megan The Stallion's sexually charged performance that was cringe worthy. It was out of place and made a mockery of politics.

Many black audiences were complaining prior to the event that female rappers are being vulgar, using their bodies in a sexual manner and constantly rapping about their vaginas, and nothing else, in conduct that has become trite and inappropriate.

Kamala Harris

Harris also briefly put on a fake southern accent during the rally to mimic the speech of people in Atlanta, which drew criticism on social networking, as she was born in California and educated in Canada. Many stated Harris was pandering to the audience using rappers and did not tell African-Americans what she would do for the black community. The rally was a public relations disaster.

Harris' fake southern accent reminded social networking of non-southerner, Hillary Clinton, having done the same and claiming she walks around with hot sauce in her purse, as some (not all) African-Americans do. Clinton did this to pander for votes in the black community, but still lost to Trump anyway in the 2016 presidential election.

I've repeatedly warned on this site for years that the Democrat party allowing Hollywood to get involved in their politics is doing them no favors with audiences on both sides of the aisles. Americans do not look to Hollywood for political advice, as many in the industry are mentally unwell, uneducated and don't understand serious political issues.
